More Inside!
Namaste, Salaam,Sussreekall, Highest HareKrishna and howwwYOOOOdoooinn!!!
Glorious luxury of sunshine washes down upon me, as I write my lovenote to all of you Lovebugs, today. I can’t believe the intensity of this week…with the Awareness Day Lunch (which was pure bliss!)..and all the hockey (ahhh…The Canucks) and, now the sun warms and is energizing! Absolute Awesomeness!!!
I have been busy and, as a result, somewhat anxious lately.weeeeiird!! LOL!
I don’t think I know one person who doesn’t feel anxious or nervous, from time to time. It is an annoying feeling, and I have always tried to stay positive and pragmatic. But, sometimes, it remains.
Pranayama is, basically, an idea of “breath control” (or breathing deeply) as a way of creating stillness,or, quieting the Monkey Mind (the crazy mind…the stressful thoughts, etc.) I am always trying to use a Pranayama technique to stay calm, when I’m nervous or overwhelmed (which, like most of us, happens frequently!). Yeah…I was nervous and pretty self-concious about my speaking stuff this week….primarily because I simply wanted to do a good job.
As previously discussed, I still (after all these years) get nervous before shows (again….EVERYBODY does…and for moi-its simply because I want to “do a good job”)
I mean- come on!!! Its IN FRONT of people! Hahahahha! What if I…
Trip..
Sweat under the armpits and it shows…
Hit a flat singing note…
Forget the words…
Accidentally sing “Daddy’s Getting Married” in French(well, it HAS happened)…
Have acne showing on my face…
Have wrinkles (new)…
Get my teeth knocked-out by a stagediver(well, it HAS happened)…
Get emotional+cry while I’m talking (NOT very rock-n-roll, people!LOL!)…
Lose my balance+fall down…
Rip my pants…
Break a tango shoe…
Etc.
Etc.
Etc.
This is known as “CATASTROPHIZING” and it is unnecessary………..but we ALL do it! Why??? Sheesh!!!
Again..I look to…MY BABYDOG!!! (Big shocker, I Know!)
He is often nervous and, even skeptical. This is plain ol’ FEAR, in a dog.
What is it in a human? Me thinks it is the same: fear. Simple.
And not only must we “face our fears” but we must trust ourselves and just dive in!!!
Right? Right.
if we just act/talk/sing/behave from the Heart…from our guts…from the INSIDE…and we are honestly doing THE BEST WE CAN…then we lose the worry about falling/sweating/tripping/lookingstupid/etc.
Its what’s inside of us that counts!!! That’s the PRANA! The lifeforce. The Truth.
I took some photos of these Rhododendron flowers, on our dogwalks, this week! You can see that if we peeeer INSIDE the Rhododendron, we find even more beauty.
(Looks like crazy leopard spots, or something!)
I love that! Fuck! I’m aware of the good fortune of my eyeballs when I happen upon visual suprises like that!!!
And…inside of us, regardless of fear/self-conciousness+nervousness….the True Nature of our guts is waiting to be seen!
To be realized!
Shitdamn! That’s pretty cool. :)
I hope each and everyone of you has some bliss to feel and see and experience, this weekend. When you LOOK inside…remember to SEE inside!
Don’t hold your breath!
Take a moment to exhale and you will amaze yourself and, maybe even forget your fears.
Sending a massive lovehug to all of you, and hoping you are livin’Large and In Charge. With devotion and positivity..
Love,
Biffy

Ahhh performance jitters! It happens to everyone at some point. I get very self conscious about how I look too. I worry about my weight, my acne, my hair.. So much! The worst for me is long trips because I have a hyperactive little bladder! Last week I went on a trip to Poco, from Abbotsford, and it was so hard for me to not be close to a bathroom! I literally go every half an hour! Lol! I was lucky though. There was a toilet at the place I went to visit. Yay! I get anxious at work too about being late or making mistakes. A little stress is good for us! But never let it control your life.
We all love you, Bif! We all get zits and wrinkles too! Heehee!

The exhilaration of constant motion, we are consistent changing energy and only we can truly choose, where it is, we go ….
Our minds are very powerful. If we think were sick, we’ll be sick. If we believe were crazy, we’ll be crazy. If we think were worthless, we will be worthless. Choose how your mind will work for you, and see thru the optical illusions in life.

I love how you can stay so optimistic despite stupid cancer. It just made me cynical and outraged. :o I try to channel that rage of course, into helping other young adults with cancer and through my blog (which makes me sound like a homicidal maniac! haha ), but you always remind me to see the beauty that is in the world too :).
(huge HUG!)
p.s. come back to London soon ;).
