Yowza! Scratchin’ my Eyes Out!
Namaste! Sussreekall! Salaam! Whasssssuuup!! Buenas Dias! Merhaba! Happy to be here, on this-our connection via meandering lil’ words. I love words. Love the power of words. Language. Communication. My book is underway and I am usually thinking of the “why” and having my own worthiness issues. We ALL have that. I figure its normal. Simple neurosis.
And my book is a nutty process.
And my book is a confessional process.
And my book makes me laugh at my moronic adventures, and record them hoping my ten readers (LOL!) Will laugh.
And my book is a tortureous process…..soooo….I need a respite. I’ve decided I would like to play a couple accoustic shows (honestly, that is where my spirit is at…I’m seeking an intimacy, right now..an emotional mutuality…..I am experiencing a need to be close with my peeps, yo!)
And, I’m going to be doing some “speaking” events. I will keep you informed as they come up, but I have been asked to speak at a couple things at the end of April and early May, and I couldn’t be happier!!
That is SO WHAT I’m INTO! I have a biiiig mouth and I just want to talk sometimes tellin my tales and sometimes being an advocate. It makes sense to me, seeing as how I have such a big mouth! LOL!
Also….I am gittin that bug to play! I’m experiencing a real emotional upheaval, of sorts, lately. Its cool to me…..the ebb and flow. I’m into it. Owning my feelings. Owning my Truth.
I am fascinated by the consistent surprises life brings and am very alert to my senses. I have been taking a lot of photographs…..my eyeballs cause me huge enjoyment! Yeah…I’m grateful. Big shocker!
And…..then, I saw the above photo in a magazine! LOOK AT THIS DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m not “sayin” anything negative about this individual…..but his body reminded me of the ancient Yogis of India, in a weird way….although THIS guy made me wanna’ scratch my eyeballs OUT after I saw him! LOL!
(No, I can’t do “photoshop” or anything…computer-stupid, remember?…..but I did feel it was necessary to blur out his face because I didn’t want him/anyone to be offended or get hurt feelings)
But I simply HAD to show you this photo! You must know what I’m thinkin????? (Like you could probably see his food digesting and winding its way through his lower left quadrant, etc??? LOL!!!)
I’m AWFUL aint I?? Awwwww…just funnin’. :)

I had a dream last night that you played a show at The Olympics opening ceremony and opened for U2 lol! It was interesting. Then you had this paper bag onstage where all your fans could put notes in for you. It was cute.
I would love to see you play an acoustic show, or any show really. And the speaking thing will be awesome for you.
About that guy.. I have to say I like my men with more meat on em. I like big dudes.. Hehe! They’re more fun to snuggle up to :)

I can’t wait until your book comes out, I am sooo excited! I hope you hold an autographing and I can make it to one :) Or one of these accoustic shows that may happen! YAY! And seeing this picture… sheesh I really need to start working out more. LOL!

I’m looking forward to reading your book Bif! I don’t think you need to worry so much! :) I wish I would be able to come to your speaking events or acoustic gigs…. sigh… You should make a DVD so that all us far away folks can watch you live. I’m going to be making an album with my band in 2 months time, when it’s done I’d love to send you a copy. (my friend is recording us as we don’t have a record deal… or anything at all, we is doin’ it on our owns! haha!)

I didn’t know that Bif was working on a book! I look forward to reading it… I took some pictures today too…the sunshine lures the camera, and my hands merely follow suit. I can picture Bif disguised and taking pictures in downtown Vancouver…keepin “them” on their toes! Now that the Olympics are over, people may be in need again of something to notice. But really, there is nothing sweeter than blooming greenery. (Although the picture Bif posted maybe dreamier, especially if you like canoeing). I wounder if he got those abs by canoeing? That would be great! I love canoe trips! Hope everyone gets out to enjoy the sunny rejuvination. PEACE V

I smiled when I saw that you’re working on your book – very cool. Is any of it coming out of journals or previous work or did you start basically from scratch? I’m looking forward to it :)

Hey Bif, thanks for your blogs, i feel like you write your emotions out in the same pure way you feel them, there is such an IMMEDIACY to your words. THANK YOU. Too few people FEEL like with that kind of intensity anymore! Or so it seems to me…
ANYWAYS.
Please please please come to Montreal for some acoustic gigs when you have the chance, I for one promise to be an attentive listener, and will project all the love-peace-energy i can to you. I love your voice. To hear it so bare and vulnerable, minus all the feedback, would be awesome. An hour and a half of Lucky? I’d be all over that.

As for the picture, he’s got killer arms, but the rest of him isn’t proportional. I’ll just stick to admiring that arm. How can you look at anything else!?
