The photo I have up here (of Nicklas+his pal, Chula) is in the middle of several monsooon-esque days in a row, in Vancouver. It seemed everyone around was downtrodden and sulking (even though everyone KNOWS they live in a rainforest??) Except for these two little dogs. They were my examples. My teachers. (And, maybe if I had a human kid- I would find that child would be my teacher)
Sometimes, Nicklas leads and Chula follows. Sometimes, Chula leads and Nicklas follows. They do not compete. They have no neurosis regarding competitiveness. They are symbiotic and equal.
Like we all should be. Om Hare Om.
Leadership is a combination of interchangeable qualities (which we ALL have in us) like being dependable and supportive, imaginative, curageous, caring, inspiring and motivating.
People need inspirational, motivating people in their world. We need each other. We need to lift each other up. Lend a hand. Help each other to achieve and thrive. We sometimes need to acknowledge that fact, to rid ourselves of the “independant” self.
We are all one.
One love.
One planet.
Fuck yeah!
