Bless You/Gesundheit/Alhamdo lel lah/Afiat Bahsheh/Hari Om…

Namaste and Salaam to everyone!
Wherever you may be, I hope the beauty of the falling leaves (falling snow?) Is a delight for your eyes! As you can see (photo) Vancouver is ridiculously beautiful! Om Nama Shivaya.
I am home from the road, with my found-luggage and a fresh cold (I’ve been whining about it on the twitter!!). I honestly can’t complain, as I am feeling extremely fortunate for my existence.
The shows were so much fun, last week! The only other one to get The Cold, was Jason.
I think he had an easier time with it, than I did, based on the fact that it made him cough+sputter (whereas it has made me into a nose-faucet!!!)
Everyone else remained unscathed (weird, considering The General stands firm in his resolve to only wear shorts! What a Rebel!)
I want to thank everyone for comin’ out to the shows and sharing the rock experience with us!!! You guys always make me so mushy!!! *gush*
I just love you all to bits!!!
I hope everyone is taking care of themselves, and investigating the whole “flu-shot” thing?
Conspiracy theories aside, I am going to (probably) get the shot(s).
Last year, my oncologist “insisted” I get, what was, my first ever flu shot. I survived and it was rather uneventful. Based on that experience, I guess I’m probably going to be told to get this year’s variety of shots.
I wash my hands so much they are chapped (like my schnoz from blowing it! And everytime Flavio hears me blow my nose- which sounds like a fucking TUBA-he laughs out loud!!!! Now, EVERYTIME I blow my nose, I think of Flav and I laugh all by myself! Thinkin’ “oh boy! Flavio would like THAT one!”
I also utilize the “hand sanitizer” stuff. I figure if I do my part to stay sanitized/washed..I won’t pass along MY cold, or-Godforbid (great band, BTW!) I won’t catch the flubugs.
I hope all of you stay healthy. Don’t panic! Don’t freak out and get paranoid! Just be smart. Just use your sleeve on door handles/elevator buttons/wherever you can. Or wear gloves?
And eat properly. And move your body around. And try and keep your immune system strong.
Right? You know how. Just go ahead and be mindfully aware.
And, hey- while we are at it, be mindfully aware of everything around you: ie: the falling leaves. :)
We are veryveryvery lucky. Look around you. Fuck yeah! Life’s pretty spectacular, really…
And that’s nothing to sneeze at.
Om Hare Om.
Love,
Biffy

I hope you feel better soon, Biffy! I had a cold last week that I caught in Hope while ATVing. I was really only sick for one day. I beat the cold by taking echinacea, taking my vitamins, and drinking LOTS of tea! I always drink caffeine-free fruit and herbal teas. Delicious! I also got plenty of sleep (which I know you probably have to catch up on!)
This week I’m 100% better and cold-free. Echinacea is usually my first line of defense against colds. It really works. I love that stuff! Hot showers are a close second.
Namaste!

I hope you feel better soon. I have to say, the worst part about moving to Florida from Wisconsin is that I now don’t get the joy of watching the leaves change during the fall season. Don’t miss the snow, though.

Be careful in leaves, if any of them are rotten there is a worm that lives in it and it can burrow into your skin! My bf learned that in his entomology class :( Yucky! I can never jump in a pile of leaves again… I am planning on getting the flu shot if I can, I heard only pregnant women and seniors can get it at the moment, but that’s probably just a rumor. Ugh I hate winter because my nose will run so much that it will get DRY and then hurt and it will be chapped but I’ll get like that one drop of nose-goobers that just hangs on the tip of the nose and you don’t know how to get rid of it!!! lol!! Anywhoo I hope you feel better soon, I haven’t been sick yet this year… which is WEIRD cause I always get sick around this time of year… well maybe it’s the Christmas sickness for me this year. Every year since I was born up until I was 8 I was sick at Christmas! woo!

LOl thanks for not leaking “boogs” on us at the Rock show, we figured you looked tired the other night at Ryly’s (still kicked ass though). Rest up get better enjoy the weather (whats left of it) and can’t wait till next time we get to catch your show, like I stated before they leave a smile on my face for days. We met once before in 1999 outside your apartment (hotel) in Van. BC. My Girlfriend (now wife) and I, she asked you at the door if your name was “Buff” LOL you were so gracious took a photo with us and your pooch “nicholas” And to this day you still seem to be the gracious person you were then, that is what I respect most, you treated us like humans not a skin color or race. Hopefully you will be back our way again soon, so take care and keep on living.
