Health+Vigor to Cut the Mustard..

Namaste! Sussreekall! Howdy y’all, from Alberta! Yes, BeautifulPeople, I am sending you lots of energy from the Mountain Time Zone. Biiiig, big endless vast sky. Pretty breathtaking.
Very cool to experience it.
I was home, this week, for four days straight! Though I remained dangerously underslept, my energy levels were encouraging and I resumed my training at home. Nothing makes my head feel better than moving my muscles around. Nothing. I trained HARD! Ate a lot. And trained harder the next day. Repeat, repeat, repeat. Lots of hempseeds and bananas. Lots of cacao (yum!!). Lots of spinach (think “Popeye”).
I am very fortunate and very grateful for any and all abilities, everyday. Om Nama Shivaya. :)
Nicklas, my 12.5yr old babydog, on the other hand, needs more activity to offset the interesting diet he so enjoyed, whilst I was gone on the tourbus. Um….what’s that saying? “Fat+happy”? Well……..I want wee Nick to live as long as possible, so I insist on our doing long walks before bedtime (which is an “extra” walk, each day, on top of his usual walks+daily dogparks and various playdates)
It is my belief that movement is the key to health. (Not to mention a sattvic diet….but that’s a whooolee other story) and, even with babydogs. Slow, gradual-hill walks are how I used to rehabilitate Sri Annastasia (may she rest in peace) after her numerous spinal surgeries, and she alwaysalways excelled as a patient.
I figure it HAS to be good for Nicklas, too?
Yeah…………guess I’m a bit obsessed with him. Possibly I’m overcompensating with my attentive focus, due to subconcious psychological guilt from being away from him. Am I bonkers?? (Notice I don’t ask you if I am “bananas” heh, heh)
Ahh…fuck it! Life’s too short to bother critiquing myself for being codependant with a fluffy babydog! What can I say?
I guess I am his “mother”, after all. LOL!
Every grateful for the responsibility The Universe blessed me with, I do my best to take care of him. :)
I have included a photo from last night’s as we ended our walk. Poor Nicklas was sweatin’ (panting) and tired (and we are talkin’ a 20min walk!!!) But he was happier and slept better.
As did I.
Om Hare Om.
I hope everyone has a blissful and blessed weekend and gets enjoyment out of each and every single thing that comes your way!!! We will be playing at Stampede and yeee-hawing our way through the “PG13″ (=not swearing) extraveganza!!! I’m soo excited! Woot!woot!
I will be sending you lots of energy and love from Cowtown.
Sai Love.
Biffy
Xo
P.s. Yes, I DID get hit by a big red truck yesterday but-never fear!!! Any situation met with pragmatism and nobility always sorts itself out. Besides, I have cheated death soooooooo many times, now, I am brimming with “invincibility” (based on the “what-doesnt-kill-you-makes-you-stonger” theory.) And I WILL get to see Anna, so I never fear that stuff anyhoo.
And neither should you. :)
Xoxo

holy doodle…I am so excited for your AB appearance! I had been at pretty well every show you have done in Edmonton in like 10 years, and missed the last two due to birthin’ babies!
I am soooo proud of you for curb stomping that nasty bastard cancer, he took my daddy away a few months ago, and I cant believe how strong you were through your treatment…taking it like a champion!
Im not gonna lie, I might tear up like a teenybopper! Its gonna be a great evening, hearing the music I have rocked out to since I was a silly kid in big boots and plaid, with my bestest friend who just raised over $2500 for cancer research doing the Ride to Conquer Cancer!
I know you are gonna rock the shit outta Edmonton like you always do!

You woulda made a great vet, Biffy! You’re very passionate about animals and medicine, but we’re grateful to have you as our entertainer! You’re very good at that too! :D
Speaking of the gym, you should totally share your routine with us sometime! I’m dying to know how you got your legs so nice. Lunges? Squats? I do both. Lots of heavy squatting. They’re still skinny though. Boo! Like you, I follow a vegan diet and I’m an ectomorph. Hopefully, through years of training and perseverance, I’ll have nice wheels too.

Hey Biffy…what a great show in Cowtown last night. Thankyou.
I wish I could have met you, I wanted to buy a shirt and say hi. Unfortunately =( I wasn’t alone.
Hope you got to take in the stampede a bit…incognito.
Love your spirit! Love your love for animals, I live on an acreage 10 mins out of Calgary…with many rescue animals. My heart breaks for less than well cared for critters…boohoo.
Take it easy girl….xo

¨I never fear that stuff anyhoo. And neither should you. :)¨
I love you for saying that, because I’ve just gone through a couple of days of some very convincing atheists explaining why there’s no afterlife. :O So thank you for being you. :)

Nawww I’m exactly the same with my babycat, it’s nice to have animals to give loads of attention to! Must be nice to have some time to train, I’m going to have to up my training, I’m thinking of entering a 10k obstacle course event in October…. but I’m a bit scared, I’m not up to that level of fitness at the moment at all!!
Thankyou as always for your positive vibes I get from reading your blogs :) x x
