The rain has returned to Vancouver, threatening to clean the falling-off magnolia petals from the trees. Its good for the land, and good for my soul!
I love the rain! May it wash over me and render me refreshed and open!
(It is not, however, a happy morning for wee, cantankerous Nicklas- who has intimated several times already, today, that he may actually “hang himself” with his leash..) But I digress (and suffer chronic anthropomorphism, yes, I know he is a “dog”)

I feel extremely optimistic, this week, within the boundaries of my physical progress, post-surgery.
Technically, I am not “reccommended” to work out or even *gasp* do yoga asanas……but……I say “Fuck it!” (Whoops! Badword.)
I have been steadily working towards preparation for rehearsal…..what do they THINK I’m gonna do??? I HAVE to prepare to rock!!!! Hahahha!
I feel super energized (perhaps its the rain??? Or the disgusting wheatgrass?) And I can not wait to get in the trenches!!!!! Rollin-up-the-sleeves, ready for the Rock Octagon, if you will.
The setlist is still unfolding (and I dooo hear all the “requests” from you guys!! Thank you!!! You gotta KNOW we will play the songs you want to hear!!!! Teehee!)
Again, the dates are still being added- so keep lookin and checking back! Plus, remember, one run-across the vast country usually turns around and runs BACK across (and up+down+sideways) and we WILL make it to EVERYONE!!!!!!!

NamasteSalaamBonjour Happy Friday and yay!-its the weekend!!! Hola, Beautiful People! Thank you and thank you and thankyou for alll your interest and support and for grabbin’ THE PROMISE!!! I am absolutely delighted with all the things you have to say about the new record! Thanks, guys! It is suuuuch an exciting and auspicious time and I feel so encouraged and so genuinely happy that you guys are enjoying exploring all the songs! Fuck yeah! Its just sooo cool to hear!
The Promise is available as digital download in America, and it is available in Cananda, digitally, and at all the places we all usually git records.
I do know a secret: it is coming out in Europe very soon (teehee!) And I will keep you posted as I learn more!
The tour dates for Canada have been posted and remember: there are MORE TOUR DATES COMING so don’t be bummed if we aren’t YET listed to come to your town: we WILL BE soon!!!! That’s right. The dates for July, August, and September are still being finalized- so stay tuned!!!!!!
I have been doing press all week and will continue in the next few weeks, before rehearsals get underway. It has been a big week!!! Very busy for me and I am so happy to be in the mix, that I even forgot about my stitches!!! Hahaha! I feel better and better and I can’t wait to see everyone! It seems like time is speeding up, somehow. Ever feel like that?
Its a good feeling, and I am so grateful. the first leg/run of the Canadian tour is only a few weeks away, and I am so excited I can’t even sleep! Hahhaa! (Though I’m sure Nicklas’ snoring is not helping). We will also see the first few edits of the video we made for the song, “SICK” and I can’t wait to show you!
I made some paintings and have included a photo of one to share with you (see above) as we head into a weekend. I hope everyone is enjoying the Jolly Month of May, knowing summer is around the corner and the land is becoming lush and green and beautiful. My friends, I wish you all blessings and fun for your weekend, and hope everyone is enjoying daily happinesses and wonder.
