Annnd…they’re off!
NamasteSalaamBonjour Happy Friday and yay!-its the weekend!!! Hola, Beautiful People! Thank you and thank you and thankyou for alll your interest and support and for grabbin’ THE PROMISE!!! I am absolutely delighted with all the things you have to say about the new record! Thanks, guys! It is suuuuch an exciting and auspicious time and I feel so encouraged and so genuinely happy that you guys are enjoying exploring all the songs! Fuck yeah! Its just sooo cool to hear!
The Promise is available as digital download in America, and it is available in Cananda, digitally, and at all the places we all usually git records.
I do know a secret: it is coming out in Europe very soon (teehee!) And I will keep you posted as I learn more!
The tour dates for Canada have been posted and remember: there are MORE TOUR DATES COMING so don’t be bummed if we aren’t YET listed to come to your town: we WILL BE soon!!!! That’s right. The dates for July, August, and September are still being finalized- so stay tuned!!!!!!
I have been doing press all week and will continue in the next few weeks, before rehearsals get underway. It has been a big week!!! Very busy for me and I am so happy to be in the mix, that I even forgot about my stitches!!! Hahaha! I feel better and better and I can’t wait to see everyone! It seems like time is speeding up, somehow. Ever feel like that?
Its a good feeling, and I am so grateful. the first leg/run of the Canadian tour is only a few weeks away, and I am so excited I can’t even sleep! Hahhaa! (Though I’m sure Nicklas’ snoring is not helping). We will also see the first few edits of the video we made for the song, “SICK” and I can’t wait to show you!
I made some paintings and have included a photo of one to share with you (see above) as we head into a weekend. I hope everyone is enjoying the Jolly Month of May, knowing summer is around the corner and the land is becoming lush and green and beautiful. My friends, I wish you all blessings and fun for your weekend, and hope everyone is enjoying daily happinesses and wonder.

Bif, I’m having the devil’s own time tryin’ to get a copy of your new CD down here in Florida! I was so excited b/c it came out the day before my b-day and I still haven’t found a store that actually has it on time! (Grrrr!) I’m gonna start to raise a fuss if they don’t get it in soon.
I’m a huge fan, and I’m wishin’ you the best of luck. Take care of yourself and know that we’re all rootin’ for ya! You’re the toughest, bitchinest rocker out there!

It’s my birthday on Tuesday and the greatest gift I could ask for was The Promise to be released in time for it! I’m just so in love with it. I wake up every morning singing one of the songs and I’m telling everyone to buy it.
Yay, a European release means my friends that can’t order from the website like I did can go buy it in stores. They’ll be stoked when I tell ‘em all.
Thank you Biffy for this masterpiece. Each song is different but essentially Bif! I just love it so much and really can’t wait to hear some live versions. Drop by the UK when you’re fit to fly here and tour! We miss you and the UK loves you!

Every time I see you I’m reminded of one of my favorite rock and roll moments, back in the 80’s (yeah, I’m old).
I was walking out of my condo into the parking lot, there was a young girl on top of the electrical box thing, with 3 or 4 younger kids standing on the ground around her. As soon as she saw me, it was showtime.
“What do you want to do with your life” she exhorted
“I wanna rock” they chanted back, in wee rock and roll voices.
Seriously, best show ever.
Your energy has always reminded me of that unknown girl. Thanks.

Lovely painting! Good luck with your album! I’m sure you’ve been excited to get it out to the world. I keep intending to listen to the whole thing, but I have had the flu for over a week and am so tired it’s hard to concentrate on anything!

Crash and Burn kicks ass. Maybe my favorite Bif song of all time. I haven’t actually made it the rest of the songs yet because I keep replaying that one. Well, just wanted to say that. Thanks for the wicked song.

Bif, I ADORE the new albumn. I’ve always loved your music, and you and your hotness, but the new albumn is incredible. Crash and Burn, My Innocence; and Bluejay are some of the most beautiful, heartfelt songs I’ve ever heard. I desperately hope you’re goming to the US as I’m dying to see you again, and maybe actually get to meet you this time.

I tried doing my home workout with your CD on full blast and I kept bursting into song! Haha! It’s so good. Weightlifting with singing and dancing intervals. I think I just invented something.
I listen to the Promise several times a day. I’ll never tire of it. I still have my original I Bificus CD that I got for Christmas when I was 12 years old.

Just got my Toronto ticket in the mail!
Usually when I see a band live, I’m just itching for the old stuff, but I’m so stoked on hearing the Promise live that I forget that I get to hear some of the old faves too! I can’t wait to hear the new stuff live, eeeeepecially Sick, I can just see you slaying that one!
By the way, I remember you playing Red Flag way back before Superbeautifulmonster hit, you played it along with I Want, this was at the Drink in London in 05 I think, and I was bummed that it didn’t end up on the record, so I was beyond excited to see that it’s seeing the light of the day, it sounds awesome!
