Hey, Meester, its Easter!
Namaste and Salaam, Most Beautiful People. I am guessing almost everyone reading this may have been given “time-off” from work or school. What a luxury, non? Time to reflect? Time to unwind? Time to party? Time for what?
I’m my house, it is always a good time for thinkin’. Me thinks Nick would like to endure those weird “bunny-ears” headbands I always seem to get suckered-into buying every Spring (see photo). Poor lil’ dog. What a good sport!
He doesn’t know if its Easter or birthday or Christmas or anything. Like I’ve always believed, EVERY day is our birthday (which would mean EVERY day is ” Easter”) keeps life so fun!
Today is the day we are making paintings. Inspired from the falling cherry blossoms (pale pink) and the threatening-to-open Magnolias (deep magenta) we will make a mess. Creative endeavours are so soothing, amid the busyness of the place.
My rehearsals start in (count em!) SIX MORE SLEEPS!!!!!!!!!!
I’m STOKED!!!! No….I’m not going to spill the beans regarding the set/songs. I wish to suprise everyone. :)
I will keep you posted, of course.
Rumour has it, we WILL MAKE A VIDEO FOR SICK next week, also!

As I discover and uncover the details, I will divulge.
Nicklas and I wish everyone lots of fun (and I mean- lighthearted stuff, here) instead of dying chicken eggs (as in, “Easter Eggs”) we substitute chocolate eggs (dark, baby! Veeeeegggaaaaan!) And I am making us a gorgeous treat of Raw Banana Ice cream (frozen bananas, two dates, raw tahini, lil’ water, blend in Vitamix-or-powerful-blender).

Happy days. I can’t wait to get the new cd and rehearsals are starting. Hope you can eventually come to Minnesota to do a show for all of us down here! whoot!

Happy Hop Day! Aaah as if you couldn’t tell by my nickname, I LOVE RABBITS! So Easter is a very happy time for me. I am tres excited for the Sick video!! I already have your album uploaded in the system at work, and am counting the days until it says how many we have on order…. although I preordered one on your site I am buying 2 at work, yay! Never hurts to have a spare! I LOVE NICKLAS’ PICTURE! I spent the Sunday with my puppy dizzle and cotton kitty and had leftovers because my parents were out and the boytoy had to work… :( but overall it was a great weekend, I hope yours was full of fun!

So if you’re gonna be rehearsing with your band, that means you’ll be playing a show soon, yes? I can’t wait!
I wanna try your recipe for vegan ice cream.. That sounds delish. I don’t have 300 bux for a Vitamix though. Think a Magic Bullet will work? Lol

I am reading this not because of time off, because I am a stay at home Mom! Personally I only celebrate easter for my family-in-law and my baby girl. I don’t really believe in it though…..not getting into that though, I hate those conversations, they always end in frustration anyways. I am stoked!!! If you made a video for sick are you going to make it downloadable for us fans who pre-ordered “The Promise”? That would be awesome….

Not gonna lie, my heart skipped a beat when i read “rehearsals”!!! WWWWOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I am so excited!!!! Flip, like it wasn’t enough with the new cd being released – the thought of a tour on top of it is just too much!! =)
Funny enough, I just went for lunch yesterday with a friend in Saskatoon that I hadn’t seen in years – she attended Edgefest ‘98 with me, where we both witnessed the Biffer for the first time in concert!! What a monumental day and what a superfantastic friend!! =) Thank-you for your light Biffer!!

bif, i would love to be able to buy products from you. it’d be kickass to own a shirt or someyhing. regardless please know you’re an inspiration especially during my down times, and unfortuneatly w bipolar disorder those down times can be long and difficult but your a survivor and a kickass woman and a wonderful inspiration! thank you for being you!
