Annabanana is The Light

Namaste and High Holy Blessings for everyone! With Passover and the Easter Bunny and Jesus and all…..it is an auspicious weekend, indeed. This time, last year, I was “sick-yellow-skinned-bald-girl”. Man! A LOT sure happens in 365 days! That’s pretty cool.
I am contemplative and open-hearted, as I remember Anna’s birthday (she would have turned 11 years old tomorrow)
Annastasia Louisa Monalisa Molinare was such an amazing little sentient being……she lived for the happiness of others every day of her life. Om Nama Shivaya.
Having shared her transition with her, was very special. It does not seem like five months ago. At the same time…it seems like five years. We will still celebrate, what would have been, her birthday. In her honor, we will enjoy all of her favorite things (with the exeption of Chicken Korma): red pepper slices, Enya’s “The Celts” album, reading passages from Irving Layton’s “The Whole Bloody Bird”, the art of Joe Sorren, and lukewarm baths. I still have her ashes in the ceramic urn, on her shrine, in the corner of my apartment. She loved Sai Baba and Baba Hari Das. We will endeavor to do our Ashtanga and go to the Sai Centre (on 10th) to celebrate.
No tears- the rain serves us for that. Just good feelings, good thoughts, and good energy. Oh…Anna………:)
May your fluttering, butterfly wings tickle our cheeks from your ForeverNirvanaLand and remind us all to be happy every day.
Om Hare Krishna. Om Hare Rama. Om Hare Anna. The RockerPrincessBichon Rides Forevah! :)
Bliss and blessings to you all,
Love,
Biffy

Bless Anna. I’m sorry for your loss. May 5th, the day your album comes out, is also the birthday of my Oreo, who passed December 19th, 2007.
His twin brother is still with us though, and he’ll be celebrating his 7th birthday. I’m glad he’s still alive and healthy. He loves belly rubs. :)

Awe a moving tribute to your little one. It’s hard to lose a beloved pet. When we lost our Whiskers it was so hard on my son he cried so hard that day. All I could do was hold him til his tears subsided. Then he lay with me in my bed for another hour, just thinking. Remembering I suppose.
Remembering helps…..take care.
