Namaste and Highest Wonderfulness And Blessings to all of you! I am so happy to tell you………I am home in Vancouver, enjoying the riddle of consistent weather, forcing me to remain flexible. Haha! (Truthfully….it was warmer in Toronto).
And, wow! Toronto! What a town! As you know, I was there to do my dear friend, George’s show (CBC’s The Hour), as well as ET and MTV and Much, etc.etc. Hooooly moly!! I was having so much fun and can’t believe I didn’t fall on my face from the fifteen-hour workdays! Haha!
My hotel was a wee, secluded, boutique hotel that had a kitchen!!!! (My managers love me!) Of course I had, um, bananas for morningtime….but as I didn’t return to my room, everyday, until 8 or 9pm, I didn’t eat my salads/hempshaakes until bedtime! Again: flexibility is my lover.
I loved presenting Anvil with the award for being inducted into The Indie Hall of Fame and they played AWESOME!!!! (Of course!)
I arrived home, late last night, to snuggle and get some rest before….TA-DA!!!! TODAY’S SINGLE DROP!!!! Can I get a “helllllyeah!!!”
“Sick” went to radio, today, and I am soooooo excited! I was on my hometown station, CFOX, this morning.
Stoked, mofo! So stoked!
I have put it up for you to hear. And you can get it on itunes as of tomorrow (Tuesday). Teehee!
I’m having one good fuckin(oops!) Time, Beautiful People.
On the homefront, however, it seems my babydog has been getting beefaroni and double pepperoni pizza in my absence. What a naughty bunch of boys at my house! I will be kind and swift, with my punnishments. Hahahahahahahaha!
But Nicklas is doing well, considering.
I think we may be celebrating by going to The Naam restaurant and having my usual, “Naam Salad, no dressing” as a treat. Hahaha!
I will send blessings and chant Hare Om for everyone, and I hope you have a most productive, successful, and auspicious week. Spring will be here in a few days! We must celebrate!

Namaste and salaam you BeautifulTALENTED People! Thank you so truly for bringing myself, and the editors of the videos, so much boundless joy! Holy FFFFFFFUUUUUUCK (oops) you guys are AMAZING! There are soooo many entries and everyone put their heart into the effort. I’m so touched and so excited and just freaking at how incredible you all are.
I will update you, as I know more, but its going to be so fun for all of us to watch each other’s efforts. I loved sharing the process with you all. It was so cool to be able to do it together, non?

And, I even love Toronto, where I am writing this. As you may know, I’m here embarking on promotion for our upcoming record, and it is a schedule of back-to-back interviews. I have enjoyed seeing all of my peeps, out here, and my friend, George, interviewed me on his show last night. He is so funny and I loved seeing him. And, also, my pals, Anvil, were there doing press also.
They are so awesome! The first time I saw them was at this crazy place called Bird’s Hill in New Jersey. Man! I have never forgotten that show not ever! It was along time a go and Lips, the singer, was making me laugh with all his funny stage antics and they were so punnishingly loud bringin-tha-metal, my ears rang for weeeeeeks! :)
It snowed here, yesterday morning, then it was sunny in the afternoon. Weird, man. Like my Vancouver’s weird weather, its all about Global Warming, I’m convinced.
Today I’m leaving the hotel for the press day after my 4am wake-up call (yeah…..that’s 1am Vancouver time, ya feel me?) Nice and early. Love it!
I’m having a fantastic time at CMW and there are a lot of cool bands here.
(But I miss most of em, unfortunately, as I don’t finnish my workday and git back to my hotel to my solitude until almost 9pm…..)
I’m totally into this place. My hotel is pretty secluded and that’s how I like it, y’all. :)

As I ready for my Toronto jaunt, the monumental snowflakes surround us. Ummmmm……its beauty notwithstanding, I hope the crocus buds that poke through the ground can survive the suprise. It is somewhat weird for us, as it is March. But, its exciting nonetheless, and folks round these parts get somethin’ extra to expound upon. :)

Welcome to The Weekend (roll Loverboy’s “Workin’ For the Weekend”) congratulations on making it to Daylight-in-the-bank-Savings (don’t forget to set your clocks FOREWARD one hour!!) Spring is officially here, in approximately fifteen more days! Wow. Or maybe it ENDS the “savings-of-daylight”? I can’t keep it straight. Haha!
Like the fuckin’ hair. (See heinous photo-from-this-morning) I mean- thank GODANDTHEUNIVERSE for hats, right?
Yup. Tried a straightening iron. With next week’s promotion/press trip looming, I am of course, trying to be presentable. Hahaha! (And, yes, I’m still grateful everyminute to be out of the pyjamas-and-bald-jaundiced-edemic era) but STILL! Ever the fashionista-rock-beeeyath that I aspire to graduate to.
Grattitude exists, even as I text (yup. The whole blog) from the VGH appointment, this morning, freezing in the thin blue gown, swingin my scuffed cowboy boots from the edge of the exam table, waiting for the next anesthesiologist to have a chat with me…

Yes, Lovies, I still am doing obligatory scans-and-imaging-etc-etc that I don’t bore everyone with…….besides- I’m tooo STOKED about the video submissions from everyone!!!!!! OHMYGOD!!! I LOVVVVE YOU GUYS! They range from cute to funny to endearing to frightening (ummm..like the one dude, from South Carolina, who’s idea of fashion is not unlike a “totally naked zombie with contusions” and that’s all I’m sayin’! Haha!) And there is still time to keep em comin’!!! I’m so thrilled to see everyone’s contributions, and I do hope my having put an “example” up for you has helped. :)
It has just been so fun to know that we are ALL contributing! So fun. Delightful, really. Brings me joy each and every day, so thank you!!!!!!!!!!!
Another joy? FUCKIN GUM!!!!! HAHAHHAHA! Yup. You bet. Totally OFF the gum wagon (you may remember I tried to make a New Year’s resolution, resolving to discontinue my joyful gumchewing) well….fuck it (sorry I’m such a “swearer” today..but its fun! And its Friday!) Life is too short to give up EVVVERYthing?? *giggle* cinnamon gum. Gobs of it! I’m lucky I don’t have wicked TMJ from the constant chamming of yummygum!
And, of course, Nicklas. He has been a very good babydog this week, and even got a new toy (a dogtoy of a kitty that makes meow sounds!) He is obsessed with it and sleeps with it beside him. (Awwwww!)
Life is good, aint it? And, its gettin’ warmer, people!!!!! I hope everyone is able to appreciate their geographical uniqueness and look around this weekend, get and inhale deeply, some fresh air. Even cold air. :)
Enjoy and if you have any shyness to send your video, don’t worry!!!!!!!! Most inhabitants of this Earth all feel the same things at some time. We are basically all alike. That’s a wonderful fact of Humans. And I’m sure we will allll feel a drive foreward with the clocks this weekend. We may sometimes stand-and-be still, but time always moves foreward.
