Hey, Guys! Check This Out!
Namaste and Howdydooo, to all you Beautiful People! It’s a misty day in The Rainforest, and the Juno buzz covers the city. Like a..rash?? Haha! I get to see a lot of my friends, which is very nice. I wish I could get them all over to my place with sleeping bags, for a big slumber party (but Nicklas would never hear of it!) Alas…maybe on tour. :)
Today, I would like to share with you all, a video interview we recorded a few weeks ago, from The Armoury Studio in Vancouver. I am talking about the new record, and basically explaining some perspectives on it.
I hope you enjoy it! And, I hope you all have an enjoyable weekend filled with fun and shenanigans galore! Behave yourselves……but only to a point. Heh, heh. Life’s too short not to get up to hijinks! Love yourselves. Be yourselves. The rest will follow. Om Nama Shivaya. HarefuckinOm! Naughtynaughtynaughty!
Love as ever,
Biffy
Xo

Bif, you’re awesome. I’m excited for your new album. Please tell me on your tour, San Francisco is one of your stops. >.< I really want to see you in concert and I’d be a happy Kitten if you did.

Thanks for the interview! I love listening to your reasoning and explanations. I really like the “free” song that you released for us to hear. It’s very melodic and it really shows the ability that you have with your voice. Very clever as well I might add! It will be a bit difficult to play in the car with my little kiddies though :). Stay strong and keep doing what you do best!

Hello there young woman, how are you today?
I made you a healthy drink @ Sejuiced about five years ago and I asked you if you were in the studio working. Your response was sweetly shy however it seems your intensity has been fed with fire for good reasons. The ironic twist in our quick meeting is my mother, aged 56, passed away due to Pancreatic cancer a year ago.
Your courage helps me remember her soul because she was hard working and fought for her life; your candid story in the newspaper brought my mother’s will to live to life again–thank you. I wish you well in your new challenges and don’t be afraid to reach out if needed. I know what cancer can do…. it’s far too personal to me.
Your efforts to get this record done were fantastic, keep up the good work–my mom is very proud of you.
Take care young woman.

I cannot wait for your new album to come out!! I’m also super excited for you to go on tour again (and come to Saskatoon) lol, as I have yet to see you live! I don’t understand how I’ve missed it every time.

It looks like you are having a good time making it even though you seem uncomfortable at doing the studio work! Good luck with your music!

As an aside – by using words LIKE “psychopharmacology” in your lyrics, it sends you up into the likes of Warren Zevon and Harry Nilsson lyrically.
And THANK YOU for not using crappy, hackneyed, cliche lyrics in your songs, and giving us music we can truly listen to and enjoy, and that makes up sit up and take notice…..

I just love your reasoning behind everything, you always know just what to say! You know when I first saw you on Gonna Meet A Rockstar you seemed so shy, but now I see you and you are this fierce open outgoing woman, which is good because I’m shy and I hope that makes it easier if I one day get to meet you… lol ^.^ Anyway, you were awesome in your interview, keep up the good work!
Love always, Bunnie

In honor of you, I shaved my head today. We’ll grow it back together. I found out, I might have a brain tumor today so I figured I’d beat them to the punchline. If you can make it. I can make it. I won’t give up, if you don’t.
