New Video Comin’ Baby!!!!!!!!
Salaam, Sussreekall, Namaste and yeahhhhhboyeeeeeeee to each and everyone of you Beautiful Souls. Welcome to a brand new week. May you enjoy continuing and constant bemusement and openheartedness. (A little Lamb of God, thrown in, for good measure, non?)
I most certainly hope everyone has recovered from the obligatory chocolate consumtion (though…as we may have noticed from “Banana Man” who left our eyes a most unpleasant comment regarding his, clearly enjoyable, personal life…..umm….too much info???)
I worked all weekend, in preparation for next week’s ALBUM PHOTO SHOOT (not anything I can really talk about, yet…….as I’m so increddibly weirded-out by the enormity of the potential with visual imagery……plus I’m nervous cuz I’m still a grrl-livin-in-the-Western-Hemisphere…) And we were fotrunate enough to be involved in the editing process with the VIDEO we shot, two Thursdays ago. Man! I am so excited about all this!!!

I’m on the edge of my seat!
Since my fingernails finally grew back (remmeber they melted away from taxotere) I may get so excited-i will start to bite them!!!! Hahhaa!
(Better limit my coffee experiments…..going better, thanks to everyone’s helpful suggestions……oh, and, I know…..”Coffee is NOT a raw food”)

Before I bid you via con dias, I want to mention that I DO, in fact, already have the soon-famous “banana case” (pictured above, amid my bounty of nummy nanners) and its curve doesn’t often work with the natural curve of each, individual piece of fruit. Bummer. But its SUCH a good idea if one travels with a banana ever. And I’m sure it may be a versatile accoutrement, with a myriad of different uses.
But we won’t go there. :)

I’m so glad to hear your new stuff it getting ready to go! I’m sure you are excited as heck to get it out there! One thing I learned about bananas is to not put them in the fridge or freezer without wrapping them with something that is air tight unless you like banana flavored *everything*. Ugh!

Can’t wait….the next best thing about a new Bif record, other than the kick ass music (obviously!), is going through the cd booklet…the photography and the awesome liner notes are always a huge bonus with your cds!
And a new video?! This is year two thousand and fine.

Hahaha! I don’t have a banana case. My boyfriend like to take bananas to work but I think he would be embarrassed to put it in such a phallic looking device.. He often takes 3-4 bananas to work and eats them for lunch.
Did you check out the recipe I posted for hemp milk? I haven’t tried it myself, but I should.. As I have been consuming too much soy these days out of sheer laziness.

new bif, new pet shop boys (i think i might be gay), new pj harvey & john parish (check out the song “taut” from their first album if you haven’t heard it…there are some great clips on youtube of pj performing it….great stuff & twisted) all coming out in the next little while.

New video … excellent.
Autumn 2008 was a good year in that I took a gamble on “I Bificus” and it paid off handsomely. “Superbeautifulmonster” followed. Then I realised that I would never see you in concert – the UK is a long way from Canada – so “Essentially Naked” followed. Enjoyed the video greatly.
I am still listening to your music. Glad to see that in 2009 you will be adding to the list of CDs for me to buy.
A Banana stand – we keep ours in the bread bin.

Saraswati, Bless you Bif. I am looking forward to your next release. I recently watched Munch More Music’s top 20 Women who could work a video and to my dismay you were not included in that 20. Which I though was Bullshit. I watched the entire show saying to myself Bif better be next, but that never happend, and a lot of bad words came to mind, but I let those go. Be happy and enjoy life.

can vegans eat mushrooms and fungi? they aren’t technically plants or animals. What about honey? sorry, I’m considering my cultural values and reassessing my eating habits.

Mushrooms are cool (not dead animals). A good portobello is pretty much the steak of the veggie folk’s world. Honey is considered vegetarian, but not vegan – They are an animal product, but nothing is killed to produce it.
